For all those people debating on whether Jedi is meant to be singular and plural in regards to the new movie title “The last Jedi”…debate no more. Here’s the info to end this silly debate once and for all.
The Jedi was obviously started by some force using guy named Jed who was trying to explain to someone from Yoda’s race way back in the day what his name was. “Hi there little green dude. What’s your name? I am Jed.” Little green Yoda guy responds… “Jed I am” Dude says…”No no no. I jed. You are????” Little green yoda relation says…”Jed I”. Dude says…”Nooooo. I jed. You are????” Little green yoda relation says…”Jed I”. Dude says…” OMFG. Whatever. Fine. Jed i” So as you can clearly see from this story, Jedi is surely singular. If it was plural it would have been Jedwe or even possibly Jedus but it isn’t. It is Jedi. The end.
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame, With conquering limbs astride from land to land; Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame. “Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!” ~~ Emma Lazarus br>View Post on Google+
